Millet seed has become, to me synonymous with the flavor of Iowa City. When I think of crafting a local dish, this is where I start.

I first met John Yagla (owner) several years before he officially started his CSA a few years ago. I never would have leaned how to grow a successful garden without him as my friend and mentor in this area. He is an expert green thumb who I can always trust to be able to give me advice on the cutting edge of sustainable farming. I highly recommend contacting him to inquire into investing in a share (or half share) of his CSA, for you or your family. Picking up your share each week doesn't only offer delicious vegetables and recopies, etc. to take home and enjoy, but a way to stay in touch with the earth and your community.
